Teaching Opportunity

I have talked with one of the social studies teachers Mr. Zach Musser. He has proposed that I develop some lesson plans for me to teach to his applied history class later on in this marking period. I will start out by making some mini lessons that will last for about half the class, but I hope to eventually address his class for an entire block after I get some experience with some smaller teaching sessions first. I am planning to address his clas about topics related to the American Revolutionary war as well as some of the radical political ideals that came out of this period of American history. I think that this is wonderful opportunity for me to be able to get some experience in the classroom before I even step onto a college campus. This will give me an advantage over some of the other students in college as I will have some knowledge of teaching before they will.
